Linux distro for Cyber cafe in Africa

My name is Marc Stephan  Nkouly < STARC > .
Am working in a Cybercafe in Africa where we are using  pirated copies of W..., is true they are some software we are using to keep the hard drives in steady state unfortunately they don't really work as promise, that why i have decide to look for some Linux distributions that i will put on these machines and hopefully give them a second chance.
Talking about the reasons why am doing this is first of all because i am using it on my own machines and i have never experience any major problem that the community did not help me to solve.
I don't pretend to be a Linux Guru , in fact apart form goggling i can't pretend to have a specific skill, i am good at talking but with this first post i hope i will be able to keep it updated with what m doing and how i will be introducing people here to Linux.
This picture show the first experience desktop i set in the cybercafe it's Zorin and the experience where not so good is only when i put LXDE on it that i was actually convince that lighter distro could do the job, that where i then decide to do more research and shared my experience on Google plus so that people who are more experience could guide me.
am thinking that in case the distributions don't really work i will build one from from Ubuntu Mini after all the most important on the clients is to have a browser and some basics applications like skype and Media players.
this is just to introduce my idea i will give more details later,
For me is funny to write after all i talk much but am not really familiar with writing except mails and occasional post online am more a consumer than a producer but am gonna change that.
